Privacy Policy
Your Trust is Heart-Made At Fanny’s Baked Goods, we value your privacy as much as we value our heirloom seeds. This policy explains how we handle the information you share with us while visiting our digital garden and kitchen.
Information We Collect: When you leave a comment, send us an inquiry, or make a purchase, we collect the details you provide—such as your name, email, and shipping address. Like most websites, our host (Squarespace) also automatically collects basic technical data like your IP address and which pages you visit to help our site run smoothly.
How We Use It: We use your information strictly to fulfill your orders, reply to your thoughtful comments, and occasionally analyze which blog posts our neighbors enjoy most.
Sharing with Helpers: We never sell your data. We only share it with the "essential helpers" that keep our business running, such as our payment processors (to keep your transactions secure) and Squarespace (our website host).
Cookies: Our site uses "cookies" (the digital kind!) to remember what's in your shopping cart and to improve your browsing experience. You can always choose to disable these in your browser settings.
Your Rights: You are always in control. If you’d like to see what info we have or want us to delete your details from our records, just send us a note.
Questions? If you have any questions about how we protect your information, please reach out to us at fannysbakedgoods@gmail.com.
Payment & Orders
Standard Orders (e.g., Focaccia): Because our bakes are heart-made, perishable, and timed for freshness, no refunds are offered for these made-to-order items once an order is confirmed.
Custom Artisan Projects: Due to the specialty ingredients and lengthy prep involved, a 50% non-refundable down payment is required to reserve your spot on our small-batch calendar. Remaining totals are due one day before your event.
Custom Cancellation Tiers: Custom orders follow a tiered schedule: 100% refund of deposit with 14+ days notice; 50% refund with 7–13 days notice; and non-refundable under 7 days.
Quality & Care: Once treats leave our kitchen (via pickup or delivery), their care is the responsibility of the host.
Cottage Food Regulations: To comply with Wisconsin regulations, all orders must be picked up in Beloit or delivered to a Wisconsin address. I am unable to deliver across state lines into Illinois at this time.
Beyond the Bake: Our Comment Policy
Welcome to our community! We love hearing your garden wins, baking questions, and Beloit stories. To keep this space as sweet as our jam, we ask that you follow a few simple rules:
Be Kind & Helpful: We’re all here to learn and grow. Please keep the "Sass" playful and the feedback constructive.
Stay on Topic: Comments should relate to the post content.
Moderation: To keep our site clean and professional, all comments are moderated before they appear. We reserve the right to remove spam or unkind language.
Ask Away: If you have a question about a recipe or a specific garden harvest, ask! We do our best to reply to every neighbor.
